The previous owner owned a body shop and decided to shave the rear emblem at some point. I think it looks nice and clean this way.

I had a little photo shoot in Sussex county a couple weeks ago with a friend of mine and she finished the editing recently.

This week marked some pretty decent progress as well. I changed the tie rod ends, got an alignment, had the car inspected, pulled all the trunk tar out, and drove the car to work for the first time. Super excitement.

yea, I was debating it. It looks really good in certain lights and really bad in others. The one I painted was all flakey anyway, so I figured it wasn't a huge loss.

Dude, you're not that far from me. I'd love to see this in person and get some pointers on a swap I'm currently doing.

                    PMed you JubJub.

I like the 2.93 except it is a little sluggish in 1st until you get up into the power band. This motor still has enough power that I rarely downshift to pass on the highway. I just went out for a ride to check and it looks like 2nd gear red lines just around 65 if my speedo is right.

My MOMO hub adapter arrived yesterday while I was at work, so today I put in the MOMO Race wheel I had laying around from a previous project. I like that it isn't a big boat wheel like the original, but it does tend to block the gauges a bit.

a couple updates for this week: I aquired an e30 parts car from a friend of mine so I'm hoping to sandblast and powdercoat the subframes and trailing arms so I can swap in some fresh parts with new bushings with minimal down time.

I also replaced my cracked hvac panel and installed a 13 button obc, although it seems the backlight is no good so it will all be coming apart again very soon.

Recently the check engine light had been coming on after I would drive in heavy traffic for a while. The code was 1221, an o2 sensor fault. The code would clear itself after some more spirited driving but when I finally got around to buying a new sensor, I found that it made the car run much better.

The next project that I'm hoping to tackle on this car is to install a/c. My original plans for the car didn't include having it, but I enjoy this thing so much that it is most likely becoming my daily driver. I will be getting the compressor used from my friend but I'm wondering if I could also get the e36 condenser to fit, that should make for a relatively easy hookup.

                        anyway, progress...
