I seriously considered selling my e30 touring so I could jump on a quick flight and buy this e34 touring... only thing that stopped me is I like the steering feel of the e30 better than the steering box setup of the e34.

Saw that E34 on BaT also, but too much car for me as the Touring will be driven by my wife also. She can drive a manual though, and will be swapping a ZF 5 speed in the spring. Thinking about an M54 too...

You're right about the steering--rebuilt mine with all new goodies but it's still no rack and pinion for sure.
