Do authentic m3s have their wide fenders and 1/4 panels mounted over existing sheet metal and panels from an otherwise stock e30 chassis from thr factory?

Click on my build thread link in my sig... it may take a while to read it, but it will explain how the M3's are built using entire quarter panels, outer wheel houses, tail panels, etc. The pieces are complete sheetmetal sections, not just the box flares added to an "regular" E30 shell. I built an M3 from a 325 that is indiscernible from a real M3, except for the VIN. I did it using all BMW OEM sheetmetal, brackets, panels, glass, etc. It's taken 2 years to build, but it should be done this spring...

Same thing as the rest of his cars. It's a bone stock base model 525i with M sport bumpers and M5 badges.
