I can think of two reasons to put Vlad's name in the title. One would be to preempt criticism. Another would be to rehabilitate Vlad's besmirched reputation. Of course, there may be other reasons. I am glad you are happy with his work, enjoy your car.

Why isn't there a thread started to purposefully castigate his name so it can be mentioned freely elsewhere. I bet if the man just showed off the car without mentioning Vlad, the witch hunters would have started saying "was your car built by Vlad".. "that car has a striking semblance to Vlad's work, do you know him?" and on and on..

Since you asked: When you say "We know the story" who are you speaking for? Why should his name be mentioned freely? Why do you imply that this is a witch hunt? Scammers are real, witches are not. It's been three months and eight days since the Yan thread, I bet Yan hasn't even gotten the damage Vlad did to his car repaired yet. I am convinced Vlad's performance on Yan's car was reprehensible and probably constitutes outright fraud. Yes, sharp eyed r3vers probably would have posed that very question you stated, too bad for the OP if he isn't a shill for Vlad.

vlad, the car looks really good in the pics.

sadly the interior is just as crappy in the pics as your red vert rep had too. It's really sad about all the rust that wasn't taken care of properly too. I want to see what the owner of this car is going to say in a year or so after all that rust comes back through.
the rest sees to be nice though. I like it.
