Few questions to answer - I'm not Vlad and I don't work for him, I employ his services to build and modify my cars.
We are here because we love e30s and that is what we do, we rescue, save and give second life to junk yard/crusher destined cars.
This thread is about my convertible and nothing else.

I can think of two reasons to put Vlad's name in the title. One would be to preempt criticism. Another would be to rehabilitate Vlad's besmirched reputation. Of course, there may be other reasons. I am glad you are happy with his work, enjoy your car.

For those of you who don't think this is appropriate in this thread: I wonder if you know the whole story. Of course, maybe I'm too enamored with responsibility and professionalism.

Vlad fucked people over, period. Regardless of how much anyone has liked his work in the past or in the present it is absolutely unacceptable to fuck over members of the E30 community and think you can get away with it.

Why is THAT concept so hard for you all to grasp?

Thanks everyone's jokes/ vlad comments his tread has already been cluttered. Next time pm your vlad jokes! Some one can post pics of a shit box rusted non non running brozit and start to build it and receive nothing but praise. i dont think people rode vlad's nuts... his pics were well done and didnt show the flaws. they appeared to be very impressive cars. people wernt looking to pick them apart back then. now that his crappy work has come to light people are going to take a finer comb to his work when looking at the pics.

that said, with recent developments i think its obvious that mentioning vlad hurts your thread and hurts any chance of resale. people now know that behind those pretty pictures there is a slapped together car with poor quality work.

people they are questioning the motive behind mentioning him not only in the post, but in the thread title... OP says its just about his vert... then why instigate the criticism. thread views? to help vlad's rep? who knows...
