    its no e30...toyota

so i just picked up a 84 corolla sr5 (slow version lol) rwd, mpg in the 35 area. sold my e28 and it feels good going back to a smaller sportier car. though i do miss the compliments when i had the e28 but this corolla will be my summer beater since it has super cold a/c and gets much much better gas mileage.

boxy old school yota. its about as quick as a m10 318 and handles like its on rails, suspension setup i have on it now is pretty stiff for the streets, especially in my town where the roads are horrid.

here is pic...more to come...sadly i didnt get the wheels it shows. running stock 13's but will have some 513's shortly.

              AE86's are cool. Basically a Japanese E30 318is, when they've got the DOHC 4AGE.

Are you going to ditch the 3A?

sweet - remember the days when I had a 4age ae86. slowest car i've ever owned as far as power - but holy shit did it handle - roughest car I've ever driven on the streets too!

people who can drift these - indeed know how to manage the weight balance better than anyone with big power!

it has a 4ac in it. maybe later, might just slap on a 4age head and run side drafts or itbs. dont want to mess with wiring of going fuel injected. may just add some cosmetic goodies and run her as is.

so far it needs new speakers all around and a carb rebuild. looks like the float is a goner. now that i think about it this thing drives as great as my old 85 rx7 but with better gas mileage and less fumes lol.....though the seven is still sexier hehe

Oh man I need an AE86.... But I think I would rather go for the RX-7. My friend Trevor had one and it handled so well. Had a 650 Holley carb in it and a racing beat exhaust. Sounded super sexy at 10000 RPM's :)

                            rx7 > ae86 as a sports car any day.

but as a DD, ae86 is a lot cheaper and more reliable.
