It looks like the pads were left off springs when they were done last year. I ordered a set from bavauto and hope to have the rear fixed next week.

Some other misc pics and other project

I just got back from West Texas and wanted to post a few pics. I found this jeep in a front yard in quanah, tx. I ask the guy how much, and after $600 I was away with it (had to trailer-brakes frozen up and had 2 flats). After a few weeks of work here and there when I am back from dallas, the motor, 4x4, etc all work great. Just some cleaning, all new fluids,and seats, new shocks, radiator, and misc small parts. Still have a lot to go (rusty areas, emergency brake, etc, but she drives nicely over the ranch land.. It is a '47 Willys.









And finally, a quick pic of my daily work horse. The 2500 diesel :)


Ill get some more up of the car when I get the spring pads in to raise the rear some and some more of the stereo system.
