Actually not at all. I sold it through R3V and shipped it off the the buyer in PA. Later on he sold it to his mechanic out there who sold it to me. When it was posted here on R3V for sale by him it was a small ad with a Craigslist link that didn't take much notice. It took me about a month to finalize the deal but I am definitely happy to have it back.

Everyone...great history on cars! This thread should bring back some good memories to share with others... The Project forum in the members ride area I think is awesome...checking out other peoples projects...etc.

I'm thinking about picking up another BMW of some sort, and i kick back and forth if i should keep my e30...I think after looking through this thread, I feel i'm probably going to keep it. I should keep my FIRST german car since i never kept any of my other "first" cars. The green Honda i had is still in the family, but it's back to stock completely and will probably stay in the family forever until it dies.

3/06 purchased a 2000 jetta gls vr6 at the ripe age of 17

Smashed that poor bastard up and 1/07 scored a 2000 a4 1.8t quattro sport

Had the audi a little bit longer but had the same fate. Took the insurance money, paid off some debt and 9/08 picked up my e30.

So after 3 years of dailying on 8/11 I decided to pick up a 99 Vw Cabrio so I could give my e30 a much needed break.

2006 Subaru WRX TR, Cobb downpipe, GReddy 3 inch exhaust, Cobb intake, Cobb Accessport, Megan Racing Track coils (they're not junk on Subies); 288whp. :) Owned at 19.

2007 Honda CBR600rr. Had three of these. I like blue best. Owned at 18, 19 and 20.

2009 MKV GTi. Bone stock.. Owned at 21. Sold it for....

First car at 16: 90 Cherokee (no pics)

2nd car at 16 still was a 96 Neon. why would I take pics of this?

3rd car at 17: 94 Passat GLX mostly stock aside from wheels, grill and interior bits.

4th car. Bought at 17 (2004) with 24k miles. 02 SVT Focus. Bought stock, sold incredibly unstock. Jackson racing supercharged, header back exhaust, 65mm tb, intake, msd, custom tuned, KYB/eibach suspension. I fucking loved this car and to this day is the most fun I've ever driven (sorry guys, more fun than my E30).

Sold it last October at 154k miles. Lost motivation to do anything with it.

5th car (2010 I think) 96 Cherokee. Dynamax exhaust, some random bits and a stereo. Got tired of paying to fill it up and sold it to buy my E30. In hindsight I should have sold the SVT first and kept this and my E30. Oh well, maybe I'll buy another .

6th car. 91 318is. It's got some stuff done. Now is my only car but will likely be picking up something else to make this a project of some sort.

Heres a pic of my first car, its for sale and soon will be a "previous car". Bought it brand new in 05, and has only 27,000 miles. Getting rid of it because of my e30 addiction.

RedDefiance - i love what you've done to your red MK3 Jetta. Super clean!

I sold my green MK3 show car a few years back to buy an X5 for the growing family. Loved that car! I think its on page 2 or 3. Enjoy and good luck with the E30 project.
