Went to the junkyard the other day and picked up a couple of parts, they're getting in more e30s tomorrow, so I might head back there to see what crops up. I got a shifter boot which is in good shape, and I'll clean it off next time I clean my car.

I also got a rear bin, for all the passengers. Well, I just needed one cos mine was crap. Before, and after.

I also got a front lip! All the other e30s at the yard had them removed, but I found one that had it on! It's not an iS lip, but ceebs eBaying for 250. The cable ties were recommended by the guy there because the lip falls off his car all the time so he cableties them on. Found an alright place to mount them I think?

Anyway, things are going along well! The Astra is almost sold (we hope), so I'll have enough money to pay rego in a month or two! :)

Haha yeah I know! I feel proud to have a rarer car. I looove your one too, it shows me what I can achieve with this car in this colour.
Loving your blackened tails and headlights. Where'd you get those?

Yeah that's about right. In Australia, the green P means you have a limit of 100km/h, the red is 90km/h, with a few more restrictions on top of that.

Hey guys, just updating the thread here.

No real updates apart from that I got rear ended in traffic and have to get the rear bumper replaced. The cheapest quote I got was 770 for a bumper and painting. Does that sound like a reasonable price to you guys?

The front of my car got reversed into as well by my talented sister, and I think the front plastic 'impact strip' or 'bar' has to be replaced, there's no other damage to the bumper. But I can only find ones on ebay that have the side marker as part of it, and my car does not have impact markers.

                  Anybody have any ideas?

When you say rear bumper do you mean just the plastic bumper or the metal parts as well... If it is just the plastic bumer, go to your local yard with a longish 10mm hex wrench/allen key and pull a bumper for $30-$80 and get it painted anywhere for $100-$200 (likely $200)

                      much cheaper than your quote.

How could you not! A couple of those parts would be pretty helpful. Odd colour! :)

Well the plastic bits - I haven't removed it to see if anything else is damaged, but it was only really low speed in both the front and the back. Might head over to Parramatta Prestige sometime next week and see if they have anything!
That's my go to place. Whereabouts in Australia are you from?
