nice car mate, i enjoy seeing tough cars out of Aus :)
i could only view half of the pics due to stupid proxy settings at work though :P

good work on going the GC coils, thats some big $$ when you add postage! i would love them but will likely end up with BCs as i am doing an SR swap which is sucking my money :P At least the engine won't have a low sump anymore though haha

          two things:
          1. where did you pickup the IS skirts you are putting on.
          2. and keen on that front bonnet cover too!?

          nice work bud!

(ps i completely know all about sumps and aussie roads:???:)
Thanks mate :) seems like there are a fair few Aus members on these forums too.

          1. Skirts, i got 2nd hand from a seller on ebay UK. Got em super cheap because they had been cut down to fit with front mudflaps.
          2. got the bonnet cover from Ebay UK as well. Just popped up, was new from an ebay store though so i'm sure they can't be too hard to find.

sump problem? raise the motor, or swap it out.
Thanks mate, I do agree with you. Will prob lower it a tiny bit more soon. But as I said befor, the rear tires sit perfect so can't really put bigger rubber on the back. Front needs more low but can't because of shitty sump to ground clearance and the fact it is still a daily to work n back car. Uneven tire sizes would look even more silly too.

Also, no money left for an engine swap :(

Stuck between a rock and an awkward place un-fortunately.

hell yeh man, would love to do an SR swap (assuming sr20, i know blasphemy putting a nissan engine in a bmw but would be fun no doubt) got a link to a buil thread or anything like that? would be good to check it out.

Yes it was big $$$ gettting those GC's over here, def took a big chunk from the wallet, but i wanted to do it properly and knew that their kit would be decent. I did consider getting the KW kit. Not big on BC products though, look to be pretty cheap n nasty imo

                        Hell yeh!! haha

Was easy getting the GC Kit to AUS jus not cheap

I still have another 10mm on the fronts and the rears are maxed out. But yeh, when driving the flaps scrape pretty muchthe whole time... lol

The front flaps are OEM, need a set of rears to match... Have been looking for ages b ut yet to find :/

Still have the OEM IS side skirts to mount too, currently sitting in the garage waiting for the last coat of paint :D

If you were looking at bigger tires in the future, heres 2 pics of my car with borbet 9s on the rear with 225/45R16 kumho KU31s:

Im running Einstein57's GE coilover setup, rear adjusters are about 5mm from the bottom (unless i pull out the adjusters...)

I have rolled the inners of the fenders up and i get tiny amounts of scrub over big bumps, but it hardly even leaves a mark on the tires..
