I just wanted to share some pics of my first E30 which I've owned since March of last year. Had a lot of different makes/models over the years but there's something about this car that makes me smile. I've learned alot over the course of the year and look forward to learning more as the years go by. Absolutely loved the E30 since high school and now feel lucky to finally own a clean example.
I bought the car from an older gentleman on Bainbridge island (3rd owner i think) and it was pretty much stock except for the basketweaves, ellips and 4:10 LSD. Clean car for sure.
After owning it for a couple months, the modding began! Went with H&R sport springs at first but wasn't happy with the drop so i got a set of Vogtlands with 15mm drophats and no lower spring pads in the rear. Did the Z3 shifter upgrade and gave her a good tune up/waterpump/T.Stat and fixed the remaining small issues on the car.
Here's how she looked last week before the big mod fest:
Then the parts hoarding began! Stepped up and got some used 15" Ronal LS's, IS lip painted in matt black, clear turnsignals, smoked sidemarkers, EURO grill and all red tails.
Took me the better part of the day to put her together but here she is. I'm absolutely stoked on how it all turned out. Happy as a clam!
Only have a few more things planned (rear 15mm spacers, HIDs, audio) and thats about it. As the title states...Dream Realized! Enjoy!
