Perfect stance! Where can you get the drophats you used? Is there only one type of Vogtland springs available for the E30? I just picked up my first E30 (coupe not sedan) and am going to use your setup as my inspiration for the look I'm going for.

Yup! this is true esp since Richard Keith stopped importing the 15mm drop hats a couple years back. This is your best and cheapest bet.

Thanks! the best part about E30s is that you dont have to do much to make them shine! OEM+ with a nice drop and the right set of rims will do it.

Thanks mikracer! I got mine from Richard Keith back in the day but he isnt in business anymore. The best thing are the e90 drophats (above). The only difference really was the amount of drop but its pretty minimal (mine are 15mm vs the e90 ones are like 10-12mm).

I believe there is only one type of sport spring from Vogtland but there are differences in part number depending on engine type (4cyl vs 6cyl). Give Ary at ESM a call, he might have the 6 cyl version available.

Note that Vogtlands drop well but are soft compared to similar H&R race/IE race springs that drop 1.6" F & R. Make sure to combine with Bilstein Sport struts (at least in the front). Im currently on HDs and the ride sucks but doable. Still saving dinero for new shocks.

No kidding!? Where and what car were you in? Yeah, i had to swing by BMW Seattle that day to pick up some parts for my E91 touring. Thanks, weather was nice that day.

Shocks!!! What a difference a set of Bilstein sports make! No more crashing on bumpstops on every pot hole. :)

Pic I took at the Old School Reunion show. Good times

Beautiful looking car. I just bought an alpine vert not too long ago and my plans for it are quite similar to your car.
