Ok back to the pictures because I missed bimmerfest as I had to be in Hawaii. Enough Honda engine in a 2002 bashing, there is a build thread on that car here you can take your opinions to.

Took a couple. Drive was great and the wagon didn't skip a beat.

My wagon was not much of a looker, but after I popped the hood I had a huge amount of people come talk to me.

the owner of the 2002 should of been banned from there for disgracing a nice bmw with that honda motor.

while there is no room for hatred that engine swap deserves severe disapproval. as in it is an abomination.

even though the cars were "just standard 2002's" they are products of the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG.

that installation shows disrespect for BMW. i would not spend another two seconds with that car after seeing that motor. and to show up at bimmerfest? there should be rules about that sort of thing.
