Some don't consider the S50B30US and S52B32 to be true ///M engines. The S50B30US is basically a bored and stroked M50, and the S52B32 the same variant of the M52. Both are down quite a bit on power and rev limit compared to the S50B30/ S50B32 along with not having ITBs, nor the prestige:-( IMO a mistake that BMW has made along with making more cars over 3000lbs ;-)
