325projectz, my answer was pretty short last night so here is some more info: I've had good experience with Sony cameras, as well as Nikons. That being said, the more I use Digital SLR's, the more of a believer I become that any other type of camera is a waste of money. They are simply so far superior that I have trouble using normal digitals now. If you can at all afford it, get an DSLR, and never look back. I promise you'll be happy with it.
