Just a question, what's so bad about adapters? I've run spacers but never adapters. The first car I ever rode in was an e30

honestly it just gets tiring, by all means dont let it be the reason you dont buy your dream setup, i just got tired of undoing extra bolts just to put a spare on.. and then the allen keys strip ughhh.. i just had to deal with one today and im just about saturated'89 Delphin 2.8 Cabrio

Oh okay. I thought there was a like driveability issue or something, but at the same time I couldn't think of anything that it could be. it could definitely be annoying to have to unbolt another thing to get the rotors off and such or swap wheels. But I don't think they made 4x100 17" A's, did they? The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Hmm what all is involved in widening wheels? I'll be picking up 17x7.5...but I'll be lucky if I can afford tires for them after I spend all this money on suspension. The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I`ve gotten a few offers to trade some of my wheels for type As. The problem with 12 wheels is not fender figment. Assuming your not going for a 0 offset but the tire selection. With a wheel that wide you pretty much have to run a 275/40 which is way to tall for an e30. With a 10.5 or 11 you can stretch a 255/40 which is much cheaper and not so tall.
and for those of you with pipe dreams and pocket lint its $5-600 to widen two lips.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

These are the final options, now that the ballpark idea has been established
Some advice from you enthusiasts
Take a pick
these are 1k, but need about 200 in work to fit
these are 1700 and still need 200 in work to fit, but are wider and very rare
and these bolt on and dont need any work but arent AS one off.. but are still pretty rare in this size...

That really all depends on your budget. 1k or 2k? If you save money on the wheels, where else would it go?
Overall the red A's are by far my favorite. The first car I ever rode in was an e30
