    Not your average 325iX

I have had this car coming up on 3 years now. Over those 3 years I have only repaired, driven, and maintained this car. It is nice for its age and mileage (hit 253k today!) but I never really switched the car up. I bought it with the spoiler and wheels and only added a volvo lip.

I decided to switch it up and found these wheels on craigslist. I liked the width of my original wheels (235/45/17 michelins) but I never liked the sidewall profile and ride height.

I bought new tires, hankook ventus hrII and mounted them yesterday.
235/40/17s. They were more than I wanted to pay but the right size and fit the wheels. And here are some pictures I took with them mounted up! it dropped it about 1 inch over the previous wheels and really fills out the side walls. only 2mm difference in offset.

    17lbs!!

The wheel tire combination is suprisingly light! (maybe 40 pounds). My friend suggested I get bmw center caps, we will see about that.

The first pictures were in harsh sunlight and I edited a few of the dusk shots. Enjoy and tell me what you think!

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Nice! I'd space them out a tad more, though.

Thanks guys, I never have been a fan of 'poke' and dont really trust spacers if I can help it. I think they fit fine with the flare of the iX fenders.

That is an M6, it is also up for sale, might be going to some guy in poland.

Im on H&R sports and bilsteins. It also has a camshaft, headers, cross drilled rotors, and 4.10 diffs from an automatic.I guess i shoul dhave mentioned that in the first post
