e30 noob :(

trying not to put more than 1k into this car to clean it up and make it a nice clean dd with ac. dont mind putting time into it but dont wanna spend a lot
id rather spend money on my a4

but i think, after a while of driving the e30, it will change your mind and you'll find yourself selling the a4 to get parts for the e30

btw...if you have a freon system..keep it, do NOT upgrade to r34 or whatever...my r12 freon system blows 27 degrees at the vents...

ya i was gonna convert at first but looked into it and im keeping r12.
just need to get a condenser and recharge and hopefully thats it
cant deal with no ac in 110+heat

Todays progress:
today realized ac condenser was cracked and ordered a new one that will be here tomorrow then will recharge with r12
pulled all tools and spare out of trunk and rattle is gone that i thought was suspension rattling
the door and trunk not unlocking ended up being an alarm problem
alarm had harness unplugged but once power was shut off to it the door and trunk popped open and works fine now
painted wheels gold today and love how they turned out
also sprayed front bumper with plastidip and turned out pretty good!
plan on getting a decent drill bit so i can do a bumper tuck asap as well
tomorrow i plan on installing a new condenser, painting rear bumper, restoring some plastic trim and cleaning engine and solving idle problem

wow pic looks terrible once uploaded on here! oh well you can still see what i did.
i love the car so far and decided to drive this with no ac to work today (20+ miles) in the 105 degree heat rather than the audi lol

What did you want people to tell you?

I did a quick breeze and did not see any questions, but I may be missing them.
Ask specific questions, and I am sure they will eventually be answered. You can also search for the answer.
