BMW 700. It says what it is in the article too, if you read it.

I really liked the article, keep up the great photography and writing!

There is a silver one down the road from me in La Jolla cove, amongst an art car, and shit ton of other rare classic bimmers. nbd.

            all parked in the street.

Beat me to it. Bimmer Magazine has come out with a really nice article on the 700 this month (not sure if it's out yet or not, the story is printed after a write-up on the v8 2002) well worth reading for those looking for a crash course.

The guy is very nice and rather unassuming. I Remember the silver car when it was out at the IE open house bbq in 2010, will dig around for some engine shots (he and the alpina car were out at the SoCalVintage show this last year as well).

What an amazing collection that im sure took years (and tons of cash) to compile. How the hell does he get cars in and out of that garage. Packed in there like sardines.

I know you have alot of haters from your personal paths on the E9 and Rusty. I love what you have done to them and even more so your write ups. You have a passion for BMW and the history. Always a pleasure Mike.
