    My 1988 Lachssilber M3

    Hi guys,
my name is Adin and I live in Australia.
bought my M3 in March after selling my E46 M3. damn i loved that car!!
for the last month and a bit I spent some time taking things out and making them pretty and then putting them back it lol
    enjoy :)

Pics of when i just got her.

    Specs:
    117kms
Japan Spec (Euro spec chassis with normal H pattern gearbox and 4.10 diff)
    Koni/Eibach combo
    15" BBS OEM wheels
    2.5" single exhaust
    Smoked lights all round
    Tints
    To Do:
    New rims (17")
    Install Dogleg & New diff
Take engine out for a clean up
It's a very tidy example but I am happy that there is work for me to do on it too

Had a bit of a play with some friends wheels to see how they look.
    1) BBS LM 18"

    2) BBS RS 17"

I prefer the 17" look as well as RS rather then LM's.
I am also going to keep an eye on ebay on some Style 5's, which are like RS's but without stepped lip. for now i have ordered some bits to freshen up the engine as well as given my OEM seats to be retrimmed in leather.
then plan is to put the dogleg box in and 3.7 diff ratio

This is where it gets fun :)

Been doing some work to the old girl. i figure any maintenance work done to this model will only increase the value of the car, as well as make me get to know her better
basically plan is to swap the dogleg and new diff, then refresh engine (cosmetic mainly), all new bushes, paint chassis... here s the progress :
    getting her ready

    on its way out

    done

    rear end

    front

    chassis before

    after

    engine

    50/50 manifold

    bit more progress

    new diff 3.73

    50/50

almost at the end! cant wait to drive her again!!

    bit more progress

changed sump gaskets and Turner's Oil baffle kit.

New studs for the 50/50 manifold

    Engine slowly coming back together

Finally after about one month of being out of the car, she is back in
