They look like recaro knockoffs. I had some similar ones in my old 951
Yeah but for $200 for new ones definately beats paying around $600-800 for restoring sport seats. At least for now till I get the more important projects out of the way.
That fiberglass+resin isn't going to want to stick to that plastic... I learned the hard way :(
What seats are those?
Is there any recommendations on what will work? My original plan was to plastic weld some plastic sections in and then use fiberglass for some support but I couldnt find a good plastic material that would bond well.
The seats were purchased from a local shop in Elk Grove, CA. The website for the manufacturer is www.getnrg.com

Agreed. I actually reinforced the frame of my seats with steel rebar. They have a tendency to bend because they are hollow so I shove steel rebar inside the tubular frame and welded it up. Much better

wow $200? Where'd you get them, ebay? Do they have E30 sliders?
I got them from a local shop called 1320 Performance for about $240 with tax and they have universal sliders so I need to either find a set of e30 adapters that fit aftermarket seats or Ive already mocked up some myself and need to find the right metal and welder to do it myself. Anybody know of some good ones?
Man it has been forever since I have updated my thread. Been kind of discouraged from spending money or working on the car since I got my buell. Plus my free time is taken up by battlefield 3 since I upgraded to premium. What got me going is I found some Keskin kt1s on craigslist. Staggered setup 16x9/16x7.5, not sure of the offset. I put the wheels on the car and now its really motivated me to get my suspension rebuild going and coilovers installed. I am a bit ashamed of how she looks but here she is.
All right, here she finally is. Just need some new tires for the front wheels and a fender roll on the rear. I really like how the JOM coilovers are for the money, front is half way on the adjuster and the rear is without the adjuster.
I'm sooo pissed I didn't buy those. I could have bought them as well, but he wanted me to get them the following day and I had school.
I have the Sams color car, and Damn do they look good.
Keep up the good work man!
Thank you, I definately had to work to get the wheels. He wanted my stock wheels for rollers so I came out in the pouring rain to swap them. I just read your build and yours is coming along quite nicely as well.
