as much as i dont like to say it, cause i know i will get flamed to death---- i almost never drive it. I have had it for about 3 or 4 years now, and have about 300 miles i have put on it. last summer, it never came out of the garage, not even once. this summer, i took it out for 2 BMW shows, and the whore broke down--(electrical) the night before the first show. It cannot be registered "normally" in the german "system" It will not pass thier "safety" "tuv" crap. everything that is not origional, has to have paperwork. alot of the aftermarket parts are "race" only, or out of the US. so they have no paperwork. I also dont have enough money to register the thing, insurance is unbelievable, and so is the yearly taxes on an origional no cat. car. I have a chevy truck on 20s, which in germany is 100 times cooler than the M3 to the majority of the people, plus i can beat the crap out of regular 325s all day any day for a few hundred dollars. But the main reason i dont drive it is cause it only has origional 140,000km on it, never been in the slightest fender bender, and is my retirement plan- if i can keep it perfect till i am 65-- another 34 years it should be worth a mint!!! my ultimate nightmare is some idiot in a golf, backing into it in a parking lot i would want to die, after I choked the fooker to death!
the headlights probably took a few years off my life, as stressed as i was doing them! I wanted them just french, like the diebels alt car, but the yellow was way to bright, and after i spent the money on the lights, i had to use them. plus i have yet to see anyone else with a set.

I havent had any problem with the cops about the lights, but i imagine one day i will!here are a few more pics the one is with the french lights before the "schwarz" treatment. the truck is my daily driver in the summer, right now the M3s best friend-- chillin in the garage together out of the bad weather. and a bonus motor shot. I am planning on redoing the valve cover and air box body color this winter, like the cecotto cars. not diggin the fake evo II so much anymore.

I can respect your intentions with the car and the fact that you never drive it. It's prestine and honestly, if I had that car and it was an option for me to never drive it, I probably wouldn't either.
It's crazy that the car is drivable with so much tire tuck in the front! Can you do u-turns? :) The tire doesn't hit the fender if you are at full lock even if you are standing still?

with the stock upper strut mounts, it had no problems at all. now my dumb ass put the neg camber- ones on there, and yes, it does touchwhen turning fully, and unfortunately has messed up one of the front fenders a little. there was alot of work done rolling the outsides, as well as making room inside. this winters project on it is to fix the front, and hopefully fix the very few paint flaws-- its just hard to justify to the wife spending money on an"old 86 3 series that i never even drive" she absolutely lost it last year when i bought the new eagle F1s for it, I usually "sneak" money into her, and my wife doesnt find out till its to late, cause the car sits in a garage about 20 miles from our house.
U turnes are all to easy, 3500 RPMs, dump the clutch and twitch the steering wheel, the rear turns it for me!
