Hows that side exhaust working out? Is it loud?
Ok, ok, you found me out. The side exhaust actually quieted down interior noise quite a bit, considering it was just open under the car to begin w/. It is on the loud side, but it really sounds awesome at high rpms. I am actually considering doing something similar on my other car, but probably won't. Oh yeah, this exhaust is still the stock 2" and still has the cat and resonator, but nothing else.
And yeah, this is just my beater car for the winter, cheap and no frills.

Oh yeah, I also have a 67 1600-2:

No interior, and took the head off to check the cylinders and make sure everything looks good. This winter I want to get it running and remove the tar from the floor to be sure there isn't any rust under it.
I'll pass on the other car, I can't afford another car right now.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment
