Here is my 318is that i bought a month ago , i bought it in the hopes to drop an s50 in it. Recently i painted the inner parts of the wheels gold just for a cheap upgrade. Right now there is no hood on it and no engine in it hence the BIGFOOT look.
Naw i sold it to help keep funds liquid for the business. But i need something i can drive hard and push to the limit and not really realistic to do that to one of the porsches on the lot .

Keeping funds liquid, yet dropping a lot of money into a 15 year old car?

Well i got the car for a very good price. I was paying $500 a month for the M3 and insurance so that was kind of hurting me. Now i have no car expenses ( i am on company car insurance) and decided i would juice up a credit card with a project. With me doing all of my own work i believe i can keep my costs including the engine under 5k not including car,at least these are my hopes.
We'll see , that's where the budget comes in. Im shooting for koni adjustables and lowering springs so i wont be doing anything serious like urethane bushings or e30 m3 suspension swap just yet.

I don't see how credit card debt is any better than an insurance payment. You'll enjoy this car a lot at least.
