E30 M3 S54 Shaved Bay

The thin wire/hose from the radiator is likely either the overflow line or the temp sensor for the fan (not sure which you are seeing). I had the bung for the overflow relocated to the passenger side to match the stock E30 location. Relocating the ABS required all new lines too, which were a bit of a pain. The end result is nice though. I'm still running the vanos.
