Haha me too if she'd let me/didn't have a bf

Basically just maintenance stuff for now. I should be getting a water pump, timing belt, plugs, and a few other things in a couple days. Then doing the brakes. As of right now it's just going to be my winter car, but we'll see what happens

that was yesterday's project. Got everything done except for the fuel filter. Didn't feel like doing that at 2am. But the winter car is getting closer to being ready. Brakes, timing belt, water pump, oil change, swapped to basket weaves instead of bottle caps, and plugs. Now I just have to diagnose most likely a bad ground causing the speedo and fuel gauge to flutter. Also car is sputtering so hopefully it's just the remnants of the bad gas (put $10 of 93 in earlier today) or bad wires. Keep in mind this was my second time driving the car 8]

How were the butt dyno results after the I top end and mototronic upgrade?

Even with the 2.93 diff, it pulls a lot harder from 3500 to ~6000. I've driven a couple 325i and the power seemed to come in at about 4k for those. Overall just a broader power curve. Much more fun to drive and definitely worth it

Good stuff. I think I'll start gathering the parts for a swap as it seems like the most cost effective way to go for a moderate power upgrade.

Did the idle suffer at all after the swap? How about cold starts?

The idle suffered simple because I swapped to a 735 afm without adjusting it or swapping electronics, but cold starts fine.

The lows are 8000k (light blue to match the car) and the highs are 6000k (diamond white iirc)

Yes, that is a JDM spec r32 skyline. No big deal. It is unfortunately not mine though. I did get to ride in it and I must say, that thing is wicked. So cool

Also disassembled one of my 885 heads and prepping it for a 272* cam and a mild Stroker rebuild to eventually be swapped into the coupe and run by megasquirt.

It's cleaning up pretty well, but definitely a time consuming process.

R32 is absolutely sexy. Out of all of the skylines its R32 and Hakosuka on top. Nice build. What area are you in?
