Actually that interior was found in the M-technic kits that BMW shipped over here, which was very little. It had some different styling things such as a different rear spoiler, etc, and the tri-colored M stich seats

The only US spec car that interior came in was the M-Technic II cabrio, which was just the appearance pacakge. There were no hardtop M-Technic E30 sold in the US, only the cabrio. Since the rear seat in a cabrio won't fit in a coupe E30, it had to come from an M3 Evo. The rear side panels from a cabrio also won't fit in a coupe E30.
