nice looking work! what do you plan on doing for tuning with the non vanos setup?

This. I have nooo idea right now. Im thinking of getting a FPR and some sort of wideband sensor. Maybe the LM-2?
I really want to try the MAPECU3, seems to be quite a nice product. Ill do more reading and see what I come up with.

on friday this is as far as I could get, got the booster installed, took off the old downpipe. This would take someone an hour usually to do, took me 4hrs, then i crashed :yawn:

Saturday turned up with a bit of bad weather, but me and Marcus pushed on.


I will say this now, I did not do a lot. I just told people where to go and things to tighten. My friends Marcus(helped the most by far), Alyce, Rich and Aalia(Le wife, who also is worth mentioning has had her fair share of work) really helped out. Big thanks to these guys.

ITS ALIVE!!!

big thanks to R3v, for if it wasn't for this site I would have never been able to diagnose why my m50 had no spark or fuel.

After going through this site and trying the remedies that different people have used, I went through almost everything. Until I saw on a post "does your main relay click?"...



Connected the two red wires that I had seem to forgotten about to constant 12v.

BANG! SHE WAS ALIVE!! WOOHOOOO!!!

so all left to do is the exhaust manifolds and down pipe and also radiator.

So thank you R3v. You are awesome!

thanks!! I'm enjoying this build quite a lot as well. Ill need to get a Piggyback ECU before getting on the dyno. Id also like to get cams too. We shall see how it unfolds. Cheers!

A small update, exhaust is on, all done except for one minor exhaust leak from the 3 bolt flange on the down pipe. No biggy.

Having some idle and driving issues though. When cold the car will hesitate, not want to go. But when it is warm it drives sweet. At idle when its warm it sounds like a scuby. but drives really well. Any way here are some pics. changed the steering wheel to a nardi. and put some 15s on it. Thanks for looking!

It's been a favorite since I found it. I'm considering doing my Bronzit in this color. Hoping you do yours in satin. That has potential...

Yeh can't wait to get it painted. There was a mess up with the panel beater.

Will be making a side exit exhaust for the e30 that shouldn't be very loud tomorrow. Have a muffler and a resonator. ;)

Check the LTSA website regarding your side exit exhaust, I'm not sure they're legal on road cars here, has to do with the windows that open and the exhaust having to be behind them all.
