How's the Link working out for you? often wondered how well that or the Wolf EMS would work.
Link is very good - I haven't been tuning it myself but the interface seems very straight forward and the power gain was impressive - seems the 325 injectors aren't really up to the task. Its very smooth (as far as m20s can be) - lots more so than motronic ever was. Custom triggering had to be made to pick up the CAS and RPM signal - its easier to install with L-jet cars. I had the old motronic with gearbox sensors - it may be easier with the later style motronic that has RPM off a spark leak and crank angle from the wheel by the waterpump.
edit: the latest link (even the cheapest one which is doing the trick for me) supports wideband oxy now also.
Wow. Older models look so much better than 88-91 models, for the sole purpose of that kit + euro bumps. Which is why I think you should get an Mtech 1 spoiler instead. I hate the Mtech 2 version.
shiftbmw: yeah it sure meant headers weren't an off the shelf option - oh well - the expense was worth it for the sound alone - let alone the performance.
I wish! I haven't even been invited to see it yet! (maybe something to do with the fact that Andy had it 24hrs before having to hand it over again, hah!)
