Beautiful vert. Such an under appreciated color!
Other than swaping in a 5spd leave it some what orignial, if you want wheels some nice euroweaves will fill those arches perfectly.

Looks like an excellent example of a clean E30 cab. Such a fun car! If you get serious about buying some H&R suspension bits, let me know. I can get you the best deal around. Either the Touring or Sport cup kits are great, depends on your style.
I have to agree, a nice set of clean weaves would be perfect. Even the stock set just spaced out a bit would be nice.

As others have already advised, keep the recipe original and add only a few pinches of euroweave and possibly a cup of 5 spd goodness.

jan 2013 Update

So, after driving the car a little while, making my list of what needs to be taken care of maint wise this is what I have completed so far:

1) Refreshed the entire suspension
- New Control arms & Bushings
- New complete tie rods
- New Front & rear upper strut/shock mounts

2) Installed the H&R Touring Cup Kit



3) Then Installed..
- 16x8 et20 ESM002r's all around
- Wrapped in Conti DSW 205/50/16
