Decided to Stop Lurking! My 325is

Ok, so here is the story behind my car since I have posted less about my car than 325i has.... haha

I got the car as a gift in april 2010 for my 18th birthday. I had been searching a lot and finally got lucky enough to find a late model 325is. It was just forgotten in the back of some random Chrysler dealer when I found it. We talked to a salesman who finally found the keys for it and of course, it didn't start. So, we haggled with the guy and got it for $1500 which was on the high end considering it didn't run.

After we had towed it home we messed with it and messed with it and couldn't get it to fire. So through the power of the internet I had discovered the stomp test and found out it was the ICV. After cleaning that it ran! Now it seemed like the $1500 wasn't so much after all. Now I started driving it daily for about three days when it stranded me first... bad clutch. Luckily I have access to a lift so we changed the clutch and the rear wheel bearings along with other parts that were worn out.

After that it turned out to be pretty reliable for a couple of months... Until I lost an upper radiator hose. Stranded a second time and third time being towed home ha. Now was time to do the water pump and timing belt along with new hoses. At this time I thought it was about time to actually upgrade it which I wanted to start doing right when I got it but with an e30 thats not realistic.

I lowered it first with bavauto springs and bilstein sports (current setup). We also dropped the subframe, upgraded all the bushings, and welded in camber adjustments. Then got a custom exhaust done and put on the Enkei92's.

Since college started upgrades have definitely gone down but she is a work in progress!

Hoping to do IE stage 3 springs and mess with wheel spacers and tire sizes next

    Hope you enjoyed,
    Thanks!

Welcome man! Nice transformation, as another said, it's hard to believe it's the same car...and only with a few tasteful mods. Also, nice photography skills Nathan

I don't know haha but it took like three different salesmen before they realized it was actually supposed to be on their lot and for sale

don't change anything about the stance! well.. maybe drop hats and a spring pad in the rear to even it out. but seriously that's nice. it's so perfect and the tire size is proper too.

Great transformation! Love the Enkei's with proper fitting tires. Time to swoop up a matching euro grill and some smiley's.

                        Thanks for sharing

Did you do staggered 92's? What size tire are you running?
