Fuckin LOOOOOVE the rat-style truck.... love it in the mouth!!

I'd want steel-style wheels with baby caps and red-wall tyres and some patina-style old school faded-out workshop logo on the doors...

the front has the steelies, but I'm not into the baby moons. The truck's built for racing, so its pretty stripped down and stuff for it, not many extra stuff, besides, still needs bodywork. Once my dad finishes parting out his 635 I'll do the bodywork and shoot it w/ some more flat black, but will proly throw in metal flakes and then have it pinstriped.

its a bored out 350, runnin all forged pistons and crank, w/ heat treated rods. Also have ported heads w/ lt1 valve springs(stronger) and roller tip rockers w/ a 2500-6500 powerband cam. It's a custom grind so that it doesn't sound radical. I'm runnin a muncie m21 close ratio tranny, i hate the automatics, no fun on street. Makes it more interesting to shift, w/ no powersteering and brakes and a 1500 idle w/ a street strip clutch, makes parking lots suck, but really fun w/ the look on honda drivers faces wen I can rev higher than them

amen to that, Too bad their so expensive to operate, I hate having 10 mpg and having to run preium, that's a 20 gallon tank a week. I love my e30 for the gas prices and cornering.

i know what thats like. My '49 only has a 10 gallon cell and I can use that in about 2 weekends. Thats just trips to the car shows, maybe 60 miles.

thats what im talkin about-- chevy+BMW! i wouldnt have it any other way. Im working out the airride stuff for my 94 C1500 now. hope to be installing it within the next few weeks!

my advice, sell the BMW and get a REAL paint job on the truck! not that it means anything, because I am a dumb waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles as heeter says.

im kinda curious how you are getting 450hp out of a mild "as you explained" built bored 350? not saying it cant be done, just courious how you did it.
me and my father have put together a couple 383 strokers with 2.02 alluminum fuellie heads and a ton of other stuff, and have never come up with more than 400hp. he is a die hard tri-chevy guy-has one of each year in his collection right now. 55-56-57 for those that dont understand. none the less, im sure its fast as hell and a blast to drive. what kind of times are you running?

Nice, what bags u running? Show some pics of ur c1500, I love those things on bags.
The shop that built it(good friend of the family) and also some other sources estimated 450 hp w/ a 770 cfm holley vacuum secondaries. It's all forged pistons w/ 9.8:1 compression, runnin ghe 2.02 big valve factory heads and a performer intake. It's got roller tip rockers and forged crank. I just got some hoooker super comp headers. It's got a 2500-6500 cam in it so, it really winds up, especially for a daily driver. This spring I plan to put it back in insurance and take my car off for a month or so so I can drag race it nad get it dyno'd, so then I won't be throwing out guestimates, but will ahve data, we'll see where it goes w/ that.
Tragically, I don't wanna sell the car so I can get a paint job, since a good friend of the family does body work, and also I did the primer, so I'm just gonna do it myself, learn a new hobby and also save a couple of bucks that way. It'll probably stay flat black tho, but will have it pinstriped soon, hopefully.
I'm definaetly a chevy guy also, too bad I'm a highschool student so I have no money to spend on my truck anymore, except I am going through withdrawls of not having built a motor in 2 years since I did my dad's 390(he's a ford guy)

I will be running the slam specialties hopping bags. My buddies 2003 ram 1500, that i built we ran about 3 different sets of bags in it,till we came across them, and he really liked them. they are very thick, and very strong. I will be running 1/2 in. line with just 2 quick valves in the front. I have just a flip kit in the rear, with a notch, so till i get the money for a 3 or 4 link, im just going to leave the rear alone. a 50 liter tank, with 2 viar compressors- so it should be pretty quick. I wanna body drop it this winter, but the wife is absolutely flipping out about the idea???? women? we'll see what happens. here is a pic as it sits now. 20" centerlines, on a 5"- 7" drop. here is a pic of the dodge i built for a friend last year.
I would much rather have a 1969 shortbed, but beggers cant be choosers, when in germany.
