More crappy pics of the crappy touring

    Got some new rims today.....

And swapped the wide grill and eyebrows onto the wagon. Had plans to wash it, but the lack of gas in it forced me to decide against that. Cleaned all the trash out of the back of it and started assessing the damage. Got the bilsteins and racing dynamics springs at the shop awaiting install. Got one fender... still looking for a valance. Have the iS lip here at the house..... slowly.... slowly..... slowly.....

Forgive the horrid pics..... Photography is NOT one of my highlights.

ooh, you have a sunroof. i'm jealous

like the wheels. flat caps look cool on type a's too.

looking forward to seeing it with the new body panels, wheels, and drop.

not a fan of eyebrows though, nor the grill

        g/l, keep us updated

I kinda like the wheels, the eyebrows don't look bad IMO as long as they're satin black to match the grilles, but each car is different...

Not feeling the wide grill but you can't see it anyways. Should look good with all the new mods.

Actually.... the bent valance was FREE! He didn't charge me any extra for it. Obviously its a slow process since I've had the thing 3 weeks now and this is the first time I've worked on it and you see what I've got done..... jack shit. I'm worried about the valance actually...... whatever the guy hit was hit hard enough that it bent the fender along with it. I'm not sure if that caused the oil cooler to break loose.... but thats just floating in there. This weekend is out of the question for working on it. Next weekend I leave to go stateside and won't be back til January..... I just hope I can get it registered in my name before I leave so I can do some driving in it. Haven't put 2 miles on it yet.

The patterns on the hood are the product of sitting under a tree for 6 months.....

Whoa you got the old USAREUR license plates? I thought they did away with those.. Well I lived in Germany my whole life, but I've been in NJ since '00. Are they still using them license plates? I thought they used the german plates now with the USA in it? Am I wrong?

Those are the temp plates. They got the euro styles that have the USA instead of the D in them. The us spec'd cars have the squares though. But we are all going to euro style soon. All will have the city code and D in the front no matter US or not. Supposedly helps deter the bad guys from knowing who is who.

Update on the touring.... picked up a mtech II rear bumper and valance for it. :D
