I don't understand why you guys even bother leaving your lips on for the winter. They aren't hard to take off and I wouldn't want to risk losing a 200$ piece of plastic.
I wish mine was that easy to take off. Tucked bumpers makes the bolts for the mounting brackets of the iS airdam almost impossible to get to.
I took my lip off and put winter tires on the bottlecaps, looks like
shit but....
I have a spare set of bottles, I just don't have the cash to have snow tires put on them. But my wife takes me to work if it's really nasty, and I don't go anywhere that much when the weather is really bad anyway, so my car is ok to just sit the bad patches out.

I went for some cheap Semperit Winter Grips @ $37 each from Mavistire.com, they work great, we just had about 4-5" the other day and I made it to work
no problem, especially without the front lip.
The brave comment was for me leaving the lip on, I know lots of guys have ran through more snow than that, just not with a reiger lip. It will come off when I see another snow. I can take it off in a moments notice, so im not worried.
The window is open because i dont give a fuck about the cold, I like to have the window open when I drive in the snow cause I usually have all my snowmobile clothes on.
And those are going to be my snow tires for now. I had some real shitty tires on my b-caps that did nothing in the snow. I am pretty happy with these goodyears though.

I don't care about the cold either, but i am normally wearing a short sleave shirt freezing my ass off.

Glad your happy with my tires, and I'm disappointed with your old ones. :-D
