hmh. I need to do this.

Did it misalign anything else that then needed to be modified or did you just space the mounts and call it a day?

My exhaust already hangs too low, so if it brought that up an inch or so too that'd be great.

Didn't misalign anything from what I can tell. I just spaced them out and have been driving like that for a month. Need to cut and reweld my exhaust up higher too since it still scrapes. I'll be in Chicago this summer so I'm trying to get as much ground clearance for that trip.

How much did you space it? 2.5" of clearance is pretty good.
Chicago roads aren't horrible, they're pretty good at paving and patching when they get bad. But it is a city, so you've got to expect some shitty roads.

As much as I could. Like 2 washers under the mount and 4 on top, I think it was. Just keep going until the nut can barely thread all the way on.

I use to live in Addison and those roads were pretty bad. But I figure if I can get get it there from Texas I'll be fine in the city.

              Did this cause any vibrations?

Not anything that I can notice, feels the same as before. Thanks, the wheels probably won't be on for another 2 weeks though.

Must be nice to not have a 'winter status' season.

Haha instead we have "summer status" where it's so hot no one wants to work on their cars. But I guess Chicago has those humid summers too just not in the 100's.

I am way out of my league here, but it's low enough for me. I am guessing an "is" lip and some different skirts would help with how low it looks.

I must say, low diving board e30's are the shizzle!

I actually get that alot. I think it is the stretch/poke on the wide E30 M3 fenders
