I go back and forth alot on the color change too, but that is why I painted my turbo car the same color, and the style 5's are being polished for it.

here' a pic with the original bumper that came with the car- was way to low(they extended the part inbetween the bumper and the foglight all the way around and integated facelight foglight vents into it)

I think that the cars in this thread that are 'flush'(old definition of flush) with larger tires all look far better than the cars that are just 'slammed'. When tires are tucking up to or past the wheel the slammage starts to look worse. Raised up with wider tires that were actually more flush looks better to me.

god I wish I had a pic from when I slammed my vert. I couldn't keep it that way because it would scrape on perfectly straight roads (vert rockers FTL)

By no means slammed but I did have to spin it up so the skid plate had more than 1 1/2" of clearance.

Heh, thought about it. It's actually a one off from EJ in Stainless Steel so I'm hesitant to really start "modifying" it in anyway.

That and I don't just drive the car. I'm so hard core that this 2 door, s50, e30 sleeper is our "family" car ;)

"Skid plate" and "family car" shouldn't be in the same paragraph. There's problem #1.

You'd think based on the thread title that this thread would't suck.

                            You'd think wrong.

That's why I said reinforce it first. You should see my Raceskidz plate and the 2 oil pans it was protecting...
