I am posting for Kruzen since he is gone for the holidays. :D

He isn't exactly sure what it was. We think it was black ice because he was going 40 in 4th gear so it wasn't high rev, the corner wasn't sharp, and his tires are fine.

yeah probably black ice - it's been extrememly icy around here too. I have snow tires and an ix, and there have been a few corners that were still pretty scary.

Ben paris called me today and was out with grant, apparantly they drove by that onrap today and another guy spunout in the same spot and total'd his car, same part of the turn, same area in the guard rail, did a 180 as well.

good to know its not just me.

If it makes you feel any better, I did the exact same thing... except I hit a curb after the 180 instead of a barrier.
