    Fall Pics

Spent a good 90 minutes getting acquainted with my new 40D earlier in the week. Took over 500+ shots. These were the only ones I liked.

I'm sure I'll get this question, so I'll answer it now:
    -IE3's/Bilstein Sports/GC camber plates
    -E36 M front (with BBK)/Z3 rear
    -16x8 Style 5's, 205/45/16 tires

    Cheers!

I love the simplicity of the Stlye 5s

Not a huge fan of the euro plate behind the other plate, but to each their own. Overall, very clean car!

Chrome grill would look good. Looks like it's not even there. Wheels and fitment look great!!

                  Thanks for the compliments, guys!

I'm starting to get sick of the euro plate, myself. Probably will take it off tomorrow.

Had a chrome grill and didn't like it, so I painted it black. lol

Since you made two of the exact same thread in two different places, I'll have to post my response on this thread too...

Really nice looking car! Except the euro plates on the back. Sure, euro plates look way nicer than U.S. plates, but I have always thought that is so cheesy how people put on euro plates and then their US plates over top. It's like wannabe euro or something. It's like doing something to it that it's not. Also the euro plates in the front windshield, same thing.

I like the idea of keeping your euro plates on your car if say you did a European delivery and actually drove the car in Europe. Or if your car was grey-market maybe and it came with the plate. But I just think it's so "wannabe" when people put fake euro plates on their U.S. cars.

Anyways, I'm not trying to be mean, it's just like a pet-peeve of mine. Hard to understand why people do it when it's not real! Euro plates do look so nice though, and I wish the US had plates like them.

Your car is beautiful though, I love the euro smilies and would love to have some.

Then why put Euro trim, or euro headlights on a car that wasn't actually driven in Europe? It's a European car and people like them. Some people don't.

                            Thanks for answering.
I dunno, somehow Euro trim and headlights don't scream "I wish this car were registered in Europe!" Trim and headlights are different than a license plate, it's a license plate. It'd be like carrying around a fake European license or something while at the same time having your real U.S. license.

The Euro trim and headlights make sense, because that's how BMW actually designed the cars and that's what they came with. But not the Euro license plate, that has nothing to do with car design and it's not what BMW designed. It's not BMW. So that is why I believe having Euro plates is like wishing that your car was actually registered in Europe or being a wannabe.
