Since we're in the forged topic, why not check with HRE, what makes their wheels forged? Maybe they can direct us to a sales team to explain it to us.

Edit: I should mention I am talking about billet vs forged not billet forged wheels.

I don't see what everyones issue is. They are billet sections CNC'ed to make the centre. I do believe billet metals have better grain structure and strength to weight ratio.

Who gives a shit if it is not a true forged wheel. At the end of the day it is made with better materials then a forged item. The next step up from this would be a complete 1pc billet wheel.

Yes the wheel is welded together but so are my Hartge Japan 16x7. Now I wonder if they can do custom design wheels that would be sick as.

Here in America, there are Attorney Generals to help with customer protection from misleading companies, and things aren't left up to customers knowing better than to trust them
