thanks guys really appreciate all the kind words, i got thrown around pretty bad ive been couch bound since the accident :( i have also contacted a lawyer who is a car enthusiast, thank god maybe there is hope, but the worst part is the car was going into storage that night, was trying to get one last nice ride....turned into one last ride for her :/

Very sad to hear what happened but I'm glad you are alive to tell us about it. I myself almost got rear ended yesterday going to work. I've been rear ended before so I always leave 1-2 lenghts in front of me and I check my rear view as I'm slowing down...and yesterday it happened where I saw a full size Chevy coming at me...so I popped the clutch and moved out of the way....real close call.

Anyways, I'm glad you're still with us.

This had nothing to do with being a man or woman but with the many distractions technology has brought to us for the most part.

I try to rebuild the car I think it is still salvageable, I too got in a wreck when a women with a group in the car ran a redlight and t-boned my M5 totalling it. I feel for you in many ways. But yours can still be repaired I have a very good straight convertible for parts that they can cut below the bumper and blend it in so you can never tell. If you are intrested you can email me at bmwextremeparts@yahoo.com. I would also make sure you get a car apprasial for it with the add ons so they dont value it as a regular E30 convertible. I in my situation was offered 1/2 of fair market value based on like conditions, I had to fight and needless to say I finally got a fair value and kept my wreck M5 afterwards that I am parting out. DONT let them take your car, rebuild it!
