New SC member! M/S50 swapped 318.

What's up guys, names Theodore. I've had an e30 in the past, and recently traded for a bobber (some may have seen my FS thread), anyway I sold the bobber and hopped on a bus to Washington DC to buy an M/S50 swapped 318i.

It's got an M50 block with S50 head and internals, E30 M suspension components, EVO3 flywheel/clutch, Bavarian auto sport tuned, and a bunch of other "goodies".

Anyway I wanted to post my official introduction thread and also ask if there is anyone local in the Greenville/upstate area that would have a shop/garage/know how to lend a hand in helping me fix her...my bald rear tires caused the back end to come out on me, I hit the brakes, locked them up and slid into a curb; obliterated the oil pan and I think may have shifted the transmission to the left...it won't go into reverse, and when going into 5th gear makes a metal to metal sound..

If anyone is local and has some input/a lending hand, feel free to hit me up. My number is 864-373-1015.

With that being said, I'll post up some pictures!

Is that so? lol thanks man! I've done some digging around on here, lots of good info and people! Once I get the oil pan and transmission taken care of, some low boost will come in the future.

Mounted them further out with little L brackets, easily bendable too.

Wait, how do you know it won't go into reverse or into 5th gear without grinding if you blew your pan?

also, do you have any specs on the build from the P.O?

What's up Matt, yeah I resigned from SWU last semester lol. Whenever I get the car fixed I'll be coming by! Feel free to come up to Greenville to check her out in the garage.

I tried to put it in reverse just sitting there, you know how you have to give an extra push to go into reverse, well that extra "push" won't even go, and with the car off the putting it in 5th gear it makes metal hitting metal sound. I think what may have happened is the oil pan got pushed back and knocked the bell housing to the transmission and possibly broke a transmission mount...I'll be getting under the car tonight and will keep all updated with pictures.

Skid plate would have saved it. Tires might have though. Who built it? Screen name or shop?

Tires would have definitely saved it, when the brakes locked up I just slid since my tires had no traction. I bought the car from a guy named Kyle Drake.

Also, thanks for all the kind words guys! It's definitely the most stellar e30 I've owned.
