Yeah, I have a great drive line shop down the street from me. I had them shorten a Jeep driveshaft for me a while back. charged $100 bucks. You still used a one piece mustang DS though correct?

Does this runner have to be re-routed? If so, where? Doesn't seem logical due to the location of the other runners.

I would think, thats really close the the firewall. I wonder if you could get creative and switch the routing for the #4 you're pointing at with the #2. that way it would go forward then down. I don;t know how handy you are with a welder, it would take a little work.

Even if you have a shop reroute it, it would be cheaper then wrapping it around. The front. Im $600 into mine and no muffler and i only get to the axel.

Ya it was a pain to get everything to fit. I snaked 3" madrel between the mount and subframe, around the starter, and down between the frame starter and rear subeframe mount (maybe it was the control arm mount, eitherway). With all 2.5 and 3" mandrel/ovalized im like $250-$300 in just materials.

So you're saying get long tubes and reroute the back runner? Then where to meet it with the passenger side

Run it back under the tranny behind the bell housing or tucked just in front of the bell housing and into a collector on the pass side or just hpipe um there and run a dual back.

^^^Let it be noted that the drivers side header was custom fabricated from a stock header to get the angle he needed to accomplish this.

I wish I was to the point on my project where you are, I could mess around with the headers. I've been welding for years, its what I did professionally before I took an office job. Have a tig and mig in my garage!! We'll see what I come up with. I kinda planned going turbo right off that bat to save me from re-fabricating my exhaust later down the road.
