So I should have them deem it totaled then spend countless dollars and months doing paper work for a salvage title? No thanks buddy I have been down that road already and I know how it works. And did I forget to mention I work for Enterprise and 75% of our customers are renting because of accidents? I spend LOTS of time in body shops.

your telling me nothing new I have worked for bodyshops for years. I think making a few runs and signing a couple of documents is worth a thousand or two to me. I know what you mean about the rental part though and those hassles however you wouldn't have to deal that BS as the car still runs and drives.

If they deem it a total guess what you buy it back and they cut u a check. You make one trip to the BMV and one to the bank.

You have evidently made up your mind to do it another way and all I said was I wouldn't have done it that way and explained why. IMO
