guy I work with had a gli, pretty impressive. That car looks pretty good.

I was not a VW fan but since I was driving the A3 while the Cabrio was down & my Dad's 05 Passat (dunno the identifiers but its the 6cyl awd) I am impressed.

That Jetta looks nice. I like the rims.

I would totaly rock that. Too bad the GLi didnt get the 4motion that the R32 got. Now that would be a car.

IMO they I have to apply the good old "They don't make 'em like they used to statement"

My bro went through 2 VWs, a B3 and B4 Passat and swore never to get one. He has a Bimmer now.

My buddy had a A2 Jetta and moved onto a B5.5 Passat 1.8t. He has sworn never to get another dub.

My other buddy has a 2002 or so GTi 1.8T 5sp. He swears up and down at the car and say's he'll never get one. He's currently in love with my m42.

Another buddy has a 2003 or so GTi VR6 6 sp. He has had problems with the car from day 1. He too swears (who wouldda thought) never to get another VW. He drools over the m42

I personally had a B3 VR6 5sp wagon for a brief period. It was "ok" but my dub days are over.

I have a lot of other buddies who are into A2s and they too switch to other things after while or the real die hard ones stay modding them with turbos and charges and in NA style.

nice GLI man, I'm an old school VW fan, but I've always wanted a MK4 GTI too.

I'd take a MKII GTI, a MKII Jetta, or a MKII Sirocco in total agreement with e9nine's statement. I how the new ones look, but I get the impression that VW has pulled a Mercedes in quality.

thanks for he comments guys. Iv not had any problems with my wifes 03 golf so thats why i went with the gli. Hopefuly i wont have any problems with it. My plans are just a ghl intake, ghl exhaust, and an apr chip, possibly a 007 dv and 4bar fpr maybe springs. I gotta wait though i made a promise to the wife that i would be happy with it for a while, ive been through ree cars this year and she wants me to stick with this one.. Thanks again guys..
