It's not much but after moving these past few weeks, I finally managed to find time to install the new shocks,
here is a comparison of the rear shocks next to the new Bilsteins I picked up!
(Old shock does not de-compress... at all unless done by hand)

It's been months since i've been online, been extremely busy with moving, new job, etc. I'll just put a bulk of images in the past few months of her progress!

Before / After for her first time getting a full polish / wax!

      The End result!

Finally getting around to lowering her with the new struts | shocks | springs!

How it looked right after getting her on the ground (it has settled allot more now) Also added a front lip, new fog lights and basketweave wheels at some point in between the buffing / lowering!

How she is sitting right now today!

Decided in the next few weeks i'm going to be doing a full suspension overhaul with all new arms, tie rods, boots, links, bushings, etc! Really trying to go for the well handling route, no more stupid fad following slamming car route.

Very nice work, I really like your plans with the not slamming your car. I was into the stance seen for awhile but am becoming less fond of it, especially with such a great car as an e30.

Thank you! Before I was all about it but after a few trips to local SCCA / autocross events it quickly swayed my opinion, now i'm more for the amazing handling car that performs well, not fast, but tight.

So, my car is out of commission for a little bit!

Just ordered the remaining parts needed for my 5spd swap, I guess it's a good thing this happened, forced me to do the swap!

SWAP IS FINISHED, in all it's 5spd glory, here are a few pictures from the past few weeks, the car finally started back up with the new oil pan and 5spd trans on Christmas Day! Thanks to my buddy Pete for all the help with everything, working all night Christmas Eve and Christmas day to get it done!

These badboys just showed up :)
                    17x8 et20 (Front)

Still trying to decide on tires but pretty sure I know what i'm getting.

How are those e46 seats? Is there just absolutely no room in the back?

They feel amazing and as surprising as it is, the rear has more space than with stock seats, since they are power I can adjust them in any way i'd like, everyone who rides in my car is so surprised that I have power E46 seats lol best thing ever!

Finally got the wheels mounted / balanced!

Rolling took awhile :( Driver side rear was a real pain in the butt, passenger was perfectly fine, still struggling 2 weeks later with driver side rear!

Yes it looks big, the tires are a bit thicker than I will be running they are temp tires so it will go lower in size, also will be adding front lip + side skirts to give it the impression of a lower car.

I really like the pictures. A lot of them feel like home since I live in the same climate.
