Friday i picked up my families third e30 m3 - its an 88 alpine white club car. Car has a fresh 2.3 liter s14 with a ron checca head and schrick cams - it's pretty quick. I'll post more about it later but it's fun as hell to drive and is cleaning up really nicely - its more car than my driving ability can handle at this point, but now i can keep the red 90 off the track and start doing the restoration that i've been wanting to do for a long time... here it is:



It has a half cage - here's a shot of that and the seriously dirty interior (which won't stay this way for long)



The car came with a SHIT LOAD of spares - head, crank, rods, valve adjustment tool, carb tune, ect. ect. ect... this was just part of the parts being loaded into the jeep -


Some parts will be sold, some put into my car or my dads...

I'll post more pics later after i cut/buff it - it has VERY nice original paint, its cleaning up really well. Its going to be a fun project - even more fun once the weather stops being shitty as hell and i can get to the track :)

no dude thats Aaron. It used to be david lumbra's car - aaron bought it a few years ago and runs it at autox/lapping days. he has/had a really nice 325is too.

My dad's is d-schwartz like arrons and it has the red evo bumper tape only it has stock wheels and exhaust, lighter tint, no roll bar, and an evo3 rear wing.

Luke you mentionedthat you want to go auto-x'ing sometime soon - you should come out to the ice breaker like first weekend in march: we're expecting like 5+ e30 m3's and a handful of 325's.

I have bassically nothing to do with my dads d-schwartz.. i used to drive it a bit but now its pretty much just his project, i just share a garage with it. Only time i do anything with it now is when my dad wants me to help him track down and instal parts.

He doesn't touch my red one - i've had that one for 5 years today.

These are the only two i'm concerned with - pretty shitty pic but once i get them both cleaned up and the weather stops sucking sack i want to find someone with a good digi cam to come take some pics with me.

Cool you have a nice collection there. What it set you back? With all of the spares you could recoup some of the cost but then again I would hold on to the spares for down the road.

Not digging the type T's but by your collection you will fix that.
