I've been searching and searching for an isky groove-o-matic......no luck though. If I can get my hands on that it'll allow me to put the motor together a little differently.

I can tell you after driving both an m20 and a 5.0 e30. The e30 actually has better distrobution with the 5.0. Also why not 185 or 190 head with the turbo?

im trying to go with a more street friendly setup, keeping stock internals and a mild cam. so with the TFS 170's the maximum lift with 1.6 rockers is a .550 cam, and the one im planning has .543 so im almost at that point without having to worry about piston-to-valve clearances all too much. plus with the 170 heads, cam, and little extras it will make enough power for me lol.

yeah you and me both about the wheels, they've been in the corner of my garage still in plastic until the car is completely finished. I don't want them on until the car is ready to go haha. ill be sticking with the 225/50's that are on the current wheels to save a bit of cash since they are damn near brand new. id go with a smaller size if lowering the car more was an option but the tranny pan for the C4 hangs down pretty low so its at a decently safe height now.

Tremecs gonna take some big ass hammer work. Ive got a shitbox t5 and it seams to be taking the abuse. I used ovalized piping to same me some clearance as thats the lowest part of the car. Still only about 2.5" of ground clearance and im running 225/45/17s.

Thats what torches, grinders and welders are for hahaha! I couldn't pass it up. Less then 1200 miles on it with a stage 3 clutch.........$800 bucks. BOOM!

Ovalized piping for?? the tranny mount?

                              Apologize for possible thread jack...;)

no no, by all means use my thread to help other members out. hell I like seeing that other people are into the same things I am. so please go right ahead, it might give me ideas on some things id need to do to mine. so if this thread does turn into the how-to on 5.0's then so be it.
