    Never thought it would happen

After 3 years of ownership this January. Today I hit a guardrail turning a sharp 90 degree turn from one road to another. It was my fault, I was driving too fast for the conditions. Thank God no one was hurt and I am fine. It makes me realize how important my car is to me. I'd happily embrace all of its issues if I could have it back the way it was. I think I can deal with the fact that the dream I had of this car being nice will never be realized although I know it will hurt every time I look at it. I just want it street legal and to be driving it. It's destiny, whatever that may be, has not been fulfilled yet.

So does anyone have a straight hood and driver fender? Im located in Athens, GA btw.

    Before the accident :(

Damn... Looks like it should be okay, how's your shock mount for the bumper shock? I bumped into another car last year and the mounting area where the bumper shock mount got all munched.

That stinks man! That's one clean looking late model. Find a fender and get it fixed! You can do it!!!

Interesting to note that it still retains the original green and white WA plate from when it was sold new. Pretty neat.

Looks quite fixable. Sorry to hear that. Looks like a nice car otherwise.

              Fixed.

I hope there isnt other damage other then the fender and the hood.

He may have been talking about the late model in the background? Neither of them are clean anymore if you know what I mean. The angle of the hood might indicate something.

The valence and core support are slightly damaged from being pushed back. It nearly completely missed the bumper. Just a few surface scratches that are noticeable in the picture.

Wow, sorry for your loss. Looks like a super clean example. I'm surprised everyone is telling you how minimal the damage is, looks like it needs:

                        bumper
                        bumper shock
                        valance
                        rad support
                        hood
                        hood hinges
                        left grill
                        left fender
                        left fender liner
                        left headlight

Among other parts. Looks like theres most likely damage to your left apron assy as well. Does your driver door rub your fender when you open/close?

This is painful to look at.
Please get it back on the road, where it belongs!
