Well when you say it's not that hard, I don't have any experience with engines or mechanic stuff at all. My friend has a friend with an M20 with a shrick 272/288 cam (again I think that's a good thing because I check online and they're about 500 each) and he's selling it for 500, 700 with the wiring and ecu. Again apparently I should go for that. It's just thrown me in the deep end is all.
Well I figured while the car is off the road I might as well at least price out a manual swap. Has anyone done if before to give me like an estimate of what parts and prices I'm looking at?

In other news I have to combat a cold start issue I'm having.
If I don't start the engine and jet off straight away, the bastard will rev, not idle at all and just splutter out and stall. Happened about four times while reversing out of a parking spot. Very embarrassing!
