Late Night at Dockweiler Beach - E39 Touring Inside

So I was at a friend's bonfire at Dockweiler beach, where we have our annual meet, and no one came to kick us out after 10 PM because it was so empty. Well, I had my tripod and camera gear with me, and after paying $8 for parking for a few hours, I figured I'll make the most of my money!

Still working on my photography and editing skills, but I'm having fun learning!

1999 Orient blue 528iT
Two tone beige M-tech interior with piano black trim
5 speed swapped, with a custom short shifter and regeared to 3.46
Custom Vortech V1 supercharger kit running 11psi
Split Second piggy back and MAF to tune for the blower
Turner Motorsport coated shorty headers
Custom 3" single exhaust, mated to an AC Schniter catback exhaust
FK coil-overs
AC Schnitzer front sway bar
DDM M5 front bumper
OEM M-sport rear bumper
AC Schnitzer hatch spoiler
AC Schnitzer side view mirrors
Euro tail lights
Mis-matched front M5 angel eye head lights

Next steps for the touring:
AC Schnitzer Carbon replica splitters - already on order ;)

Remove and sell the supercharger kit.

Put a middle muffler in the exhaust to quieten it down, as it's too loud to park in my complex right now.

Take apart the head lights, get a new passenger lens and change out to matching chrome/clear reflectors

Do the same projector conversion RVAE34 did to my headlights

Update the current sound system with Hybrid Audio component speakers up front, and a custom ported box for my Kicker L7 12" sub

Put 30% tint all around

Celis tail light conversion

Cammed 5.3L/6.0L Silverado V8 swap with 4L80E automatic

Custom rear Air Lift suspension conversion for towing

Custom rear tow hitch

540iT rear suspension conversion, differential and axles, with reinforcements to support towing


Basically long term goals for the E39 are to turn it into my multi-purpose DD. I want the Chevy V8 for power and reliability, as well as for the ability to tow with my touring. We will take the appropriate precautions to the car so it can safely tow our shop race car or my M3. I would also like the option to use the car to tow a pair of Sea Doos, or a pair of dirt bikes. Basically make it a stylish Bavarian toy hauler!

I have the same wheels in black on my daily e39 with H&R coilovers. a cool combination on the e39 pig but solid chassis! car looks really good.
